The Icebreaker Crosscut Zip Mid Layer is a piece of kit you’ll be wearing all winter, whether on the slopes, in the bar or even in business meetings.

The Crosscut is made from top quality Kiwi merino wool, and it feels bang on when you’re wearing it.

This isn’t just thanks to the quality of the fabric, but also the cut – the raglan sleeves give great freedom of movement and the stretchy ribbed underarm area also helps in this.

Ergonomic cuffs with thumbholes help keep your hands warm and there are even discrete handwarmer pockets built in (a slight downside of these is that they affect the hang of the sweater slightly).

Little touches such as cool blue piping on the model we tested add to the stylishness of what is a fantastic piece of gear that will last you many years.
