Lots of features, warm
Cordura scuff guards could be bigger

Jack Wolfskin's Revelstoke XT pants are a delight to slip your legs into on a cold winter morning with their cosy and water resistant Microguard 60grm synthetic fibre fill.

Outside of that you get a waterproof (20,000mm HH), windproof and breathable (>15,000g moisture vapour transmission rate) Texapore O2+ membrane, and on top of that again is a light but tough and tactile polyester stretch face fabric, all of which combines to ensure the Revelstokes make you pretty impervious to the weather.

As usual with Jack Wolfskin gear there's no shortage of features on the Revelstoke. There are detachable braces and chunky belt loops so you have two options for keeping them up, an inbuilt Recco reflector, two hand pockets, one rear pocket and a cargo pocket - all zipped and microfleece lined - and very effective mesh lined venting zips on the outside of the thighs.

The cuffs are adjustable via zips and Velcro fastenings and there are ankle gaiters and Cordura scuff guards - these could usefully be a bit bigger, and some riders may find the cut of the Revelstoke isn't as loose as they like. Other than these minor niggles these are very good pants with plenty of features, and at a reasonable price.
