It comes with a fully adjustable and removable hood and waterproof zippers where needed, pit zips, removable powder skirt with pant connectors, ergonomically shaped sleeves and adjustable cuffs and hem.
There are just the right amount of pockets – two zipped hand pockets with flaps, a chest and sleeve pocket with waterproof zips and a decent sized zipped inner pocket (although not big enough for goggles).
The fit is quite loose – I take a Large but was still able to get into the Medium we were sent for review – so there’s plenty of room for layering beneath it.
Overall the Spencer has a well-thought out design and a pretty bombproof build and is well suited to enthusiastic riders who like to hammer their kit.
Eider Spencer Jacket
The Spencer is really well built and consequently it’s not as light as some other shells we tested, but if you give your gear a lot of stick its well worth checking out.
