The Whitemount's combination of Gore-tex shell and Primaloft insulation provides lightweight warmth and weather protection, and the jacket utilises Salomon's 'Motion Fit' which is designed to move with the way you ski.

If you start to get bit warm the jacket has an efficient moisture-wicking 3D stretch lining to keep things under control. The inner jacket also comes with a mesh goggle pocket and media pocket. The hood is fully adjustable and removable, and it has lightweight internal magnets to ensure it remains static against your back when belting downhill at speed.

Sleeves are articulate and have thumb loops and the main body has an air vent system with mesh backing and stowable powder skirt with snap-in pant connectors, whilst for additional gear stowage you get two zipped hand pockets, one zipped chest pocket and a lift pass pocket on the left arm.

The Whitemount is relatively light, too, at a tad over 1kg, making for a great jacket for high energy riding in cold conditions.
