This jacket has few bells and whistles - its quite simply a very good waterproof jacket. Made by fairly paid workers in Nepal, the 100% nylon, 3 layer stretch, waterproof, breathable fabric with taped seams is ideal for being able to stretch unhindered, when climbing or skiing/snowboarding.
The fully adjustable oversized hood is helmet-compatible, and will keep the rain off you face if extended fully while hiking. The chest pocket is large enough to take a pair of goggles, and there is a cord port for an mp3. The sleeves are long enough to insure good cuff coverage, over or under you gloves, and the under arm zip vents allow airflow while on long ascents.
