The Blizzard X8s are an all mountain ski that's more inclined towards the piste than the powder as we discovered on test.

The Blizzard X8s are pitched at being an all mountain ski but we felt they excelled more on the groomed slopes that anywhere else.

They felt like a slightly wider piste ski with a very similar slalom-like response to the S7s. This ski just wants to be on an edge all the time which can make for harder work in the chopped up snow and powder.

The aggressive tail was difficult to tame on a day of mixed conditions but laying them over and giving it some on the groomed pistes was a lot of fun.

These skis have excellent edge grip - they will bite on the steepest of pistes but they aren't made for forgiveness. Best for advanced ladies that want to spend more time on the piste.
