On test the Dynastar Active Pro was so responsive it almost seemed to turn itself.

The Active Pro felt stable, responsive and easy to control in short turns and positively ace in medium carved turns.

However, it was a bit twitchy in the longer turns and struggled at pace so is perhaps not as good for more aggressive advanced skiers.

On the whole though this is a versatile, lightweight and confidence-building intermediate ski.
