The Head Cyclic is a true big-mountain performer and one of the stars of our 2014 ski test in Kuhtai, Austria. It's versatile and turns well on groomed slopes considering its width at 113cms, but is happiest blasting through deep powder snow, like Rambo on the run.

Head have a rich heritage of producing high-end Alpine racing skis, but their Big Mountain and Freeride models are proving they're not a one-trick pony.

'The Cyclic is a very powerful off-piste ski that feels stable and in control,' said our tester noting that they also allow you to make quick turns in powder and feel light and lively.

They scored full marks for powder and off-piste skiing during our test, but continued to score highly in most other areas too and handle groomed snow perfectly well if required.

'They're a really fun ski', concluded one of our ski testers.

Would suit a seasonaire looking to get into skiing more powder snow this winter.
