The Head MYA 5 will suit a recreational skier looking to advance to the next level.

If you want to perfect your carving turns on-piste then this ski will provide you with the right balance of lightness, responsiveness and control that will enable you to gain confidence as you improve your carving technique.

The skis are particularly good for shorter radius turns, but received mixed results at higher speeds with scores varying between 2.5 and 4 (out of 5).

The edge hold is very good though and at slightly slower speeds this provides fantastic control over the skis.

If you are looking to progress from rental skis to buying your own pair then the Head MYA 5 is a good stepping stone.
