The new CPM 82s are superfast and bullet proof, bridging the gap between the LX and MX series. The ski is exceptionally stiff thanks to a mix of carbon fibre and titanal in the construction...and ridiculously rapid.

One of our test team said she was holding on for dear life on some turns, but that it was seemingly all part of the fun! As with all the Kastle skis the CPM 82s use Hollowtech technology to gain precision in the front of the ski by reducing the shovel mass.

This means the shovel returns faster and swings less ensuring precision and stability when carving up the mountain. This precision and responsiveness reportedly came into its own when reaching giggly fast speeds.

The CPM is a real boomer of a ski, holds an edge like a demon and is a thrill to ride for those that like to hit it hard and get aggressive on the groomers. You need to work them though and they're certainly not cheap so be prepared to invest both cash and energy to really make these skis count.
