Nimble and fun for riding regular or switch.
Twitchy and flighty when pushed on groomers.

The Blend is part of Line's all mountain collection but one with the soul of a park ski.

With their twin tip and symmetric flex both behind and in front of the bindings, the Blend are designed to be ridden as easily backwards as well as forwards. These skis are all about taking on bumps, jumps and lumps - they suck them up and keep on cruising.

Line has strengthened the base for extra durability, giving you a little more confidence that the odd hidden rock or misjudged rail won't ruin your day by ruining your skis.

Under a funky black and white top-sheet lies a maple macroblock core, with two full length maple stringers all wrapped up in a capwall construction.

The stringers do add some stiffness but the Blend remains a super-soft ski that's nimble and playful in soft snow and fun to chuck at any suitable obstacles you may encounter. At 100m width underfoot they are fat enough and light enough to give plenty of float through powder.

On-piste the skis can throw you off if you're lacking in ability as they struggle on hard pack, but take them into the park and then into the slack country and the Blends come into their own.

They're also light enough that slinging them over your shoulder for the odd boot pack or matching them with touring bindings makes them a viable back-country option.
