The New Movement Beyond is similar to the Blink from the 2014-15 season, but with some of the weight stripped out.

It didn't seem to be the most user-friendly of skis and felt unpredictable and hard work on the piste - however the lighter construction and nose shape worked well off-piste where it was easier to initiate the turn.

In the deeper powder snow we encountered, floatation was also good and they were easy to manoeuvre through the slightly heavier snow too.

Overall we felt that we should have got more back from the skis, although the light weight feel of them would make a good option for tourers.

We are certainly a fan of the funky graphics, but we do expect more in the way of performance beyond that.
