The Enforcer line from Nordica has always been beloved of strong off piste skiers. The Enforcer 94 adds a millimetre width compared with last season's equivalent, but also adds significant advances in design and construction.
The wood core is now longer, taking up more length of the ski and therefore reducing the plastic at the tip and tail, which in turn reduces swing weight. The double titanal layer remains, so the phenomenal power and stiffness should still be in evidence.
Another feature worthy of note is that the different lengths of ski have their own tailored rocker profile, rather than being forced into a one-size-fits-all mould.
First impressions; this ski could be considered a high end all mountain ski, as much as freeride, if you have the power to drive it with! The ski is 'all-new' but it remains very similar in character to last year's Enforcers, ie., a demanding powerhouse of a ski.
It is stiff and tricky to control, it is particularly unforgiving in the tail and it needs input. However, if skied hard this is a super stable ski and will reward your effort! The surface area might be slightly lacking in terms of float, but it grips the hard pack and does not let go - both icy off piste and groomers.
Lighter and less aggressive skiers might find the Enforcer 94 somewhat one-dimensional and lifeless, but for the hard chargers and the aggressive skiers out there, this vehicle will mirror your aggression!
