New for 2016, the Nordica Santa Ana is a bit like the ladies-specific version of the Nordica Enforcer.

It's designed exclusively for women and features a new, light balsa wood core with added carbon for strength Unlike La Nina (Nordica's other ladies big mountain/freeride ski) which is unchanged from last season and offers more playful float, these skis are for ladies that like to power down the mountain.

A camRock profile with tip and tail rocker allows for quick turning if needs be but is best for blasting through crud and aggressive freeriding.

The balsa also seems to act as a dampener, absorbing much of the chatter and taking the edge off challenging terrain. This ski is best for hard-riding ladies that want to smash it out of the park on powder days. Be warned - those wanting to go slow will very quickly end up in the back seat.
