On test the Salomon Pure White proved to be a simple, not overly technical recreational ski with fairly average performance.

The Pure White was smooth enough in the long turns and adequately responsive in shorts. It's predictable, soft and forgiving - just what most recreational skiers want.

That said it could be a bit juddery at speed, but that's perhaps to be expected of a ski designed for this skill level.

Overall it's ideal for easy cruising and entry level skiers, and good value too, although we'd be tempted to shell out an extra £50 for Salomon's W-Kart.
