The Lumen comes with a honeycomb and rockered tip, full wood core and slightly rockered tail (designed to release you quickly out of turns) along with camber underfoot.

It felt smooth and rapid on piste if a little chattery at high speeds (probably because of the rocker) and in short turns on ice, but generally it was plenty grippy.

We had to work it quite hard off-piste in chopped up conditions but it has great float in untracked powder.

It's great for better female skiers wanting one ski for every condition.
