The Burton Social is a freestyle board with a friendlier flex for riders who are more easy-going, but who still require top performance when it's time to play. In fact, this board was requested on test when it was time to take it down a gear and just have fun.

The Burton Social is a snowboard with serious freestyle leanings, but also one capable of proving its worth far beyond the realms of the park.

We tested the Social in late spring, and we got all four seasons in a day - from powder snow and white out conditions in the morning, to sun and slush by mid-day. The Social excelled throughout, showing its ability to ride powder and give an easy-going ride on the piste.

It's this easy-going flex and design that make the Social an obvious choice for beginners who want to buy into a top brand they can trust and grow into. It will also suit a rider who wants freestyle capabilities in a chilled out package that is adept at handling deeper snow when not hitting up the park.
