Our test team had mixed feelings about the Nitro Team Gulwing, but overall we believe it is a decent resort work horse that doesn't particularly excel in anything specific.

One of our team members used to ride a Nitro Team board and loved it, but had never ridden the Gulwing board before - it took a bit of getting used to.

The Team Gulwing is a directional twin hybrid rocker board with Nitro's 'All Terrain Flex'. This makes for a decent all mountain snowboard that can deal with every different type of snow conditions with ease.

With dual degressive sidecut, the board has good grip and can hold an edge well but we felt it lacked a bit of power coming out of the carve and also between turns.

The board gives a decent pop for kickers and is reasonably forgiving. The good edge hold makes for a solid performance in the pipe, but not the board of choice for jib features.

We cannot quite put our finger on it, but none of us felt 100% confident riding the Team Gulwing. It may just need a few more laps to get used to it. Having said that, it is a good all-round resort lapping board, but doesn't excel in any one specific area.
