Popular centre well known in particular for its consistent night skiing up to 9pm every day of the season, except Christmas eve. The area has a rare North American lift link to another resort - Donner Ski ranch - but the link was not operating recently due to a lack of agreement between the two centres for operational reasons. When last operating the link only operated midweek, check in advance of visit.
Mountain
Boreal's Nugget chair is free and offers gentle terrain, ideal for beginners and children. Offered when the mountain is 100% open. Nugget is easily accessible, and easy to see from the lodge. Take a beginner lesson at Boreal and you can come back for free lessons until you reach the mountain top, or a level III lesson.
Families
Take turns watching the little folks without having to shell out for two lift tickets. Boreal has designed a lift ticket that you can actually share for the price of one all day adult lift ticket. Boreal also offers a non-supervised infant care center that is a perfect sport for the tikes to play, and overlooks the ski slopes. At Boreal there's a perfect sized terrain park for everybody in the car. Children's parks with the rollers & tummy ticklers, and families stick together in the Family Terrain zone. Lots of families come up just to play in the snow and Boreal provides sledding lanes that make it fun. Saucers provided.
