This January will see the return of the Snowkite Masters to Serre Chevalier in France.
Between 8th-16th January, Lautaret Pass, Monêtier les Bains, will host the aerial spectacular which is expected to attract international snowkiters, skiers and snowboarders.

Spectators inspired by the professionals can learn handling skills and take excursions through wooded mountains with the Serre Chevalier snowkiting school where the top French snowkiters train. Col du Lautaret offers lessons for all levels of experience. Kites, harnesses, helmets and radios are all provided.

Over 250km of tree-lined slopes, most of which are over 2,000m, are perfect for skiers and boarders as well. This season sees the addition of a new six-seater chairlift which runs between Villeneuve and Monêtier as well as improved snowmaking facilities in Chantemerle.

are offering a range of accommodation during the event, including self-catering apartments at Residence L’Alpaga, Villeneuve. Prices start from £140.25 per person, based on four people sharing a one-bedroom apartment for six nights from 9th January 2011. Prices include Eurotunnel crossing with FlexiPlus upgrade, allowing for flexibility and convenience.
