Golden, BC is one of those mythical Canadian ski destinations that everyone aspires to visit at least once in their life. Think epic powder days, awe-inspiring vistas and seemingly endless terrain to explore, topped off with an authentic mountain town as a base and the famous Canadian hospitality.
Known as ‘the champagne powder capital of Canada’, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and the town of Golden sit along the Canadian Rockies’ famous Powder Highway, perfectly situated to take advantage of the moisture-heavy systems rolling in from the Pacific and the cold air masses sweeping across the Canadian prairies, guaranteeing amazing snow conditions, perfect for a heli-skiing adventure.
And if you’re not all about spending every single minute on the mountain, the town itself has loads to offer from fantastic bars, breweries, distilleries and restaurants, to activities like bowling or catching a local hockey game.

The Prize
Transportation and Accommodation
- Up to a $2,000 reimbursement for round trip flights to Calgary International Airport (2 people, $2,000 total)
- Round trip transfer between Calgary International Airport using the Champagne Powder Shuttle for two
- Tickets for two on the Golden-Kicking Horse connector to travel between town and the resort
- 5 night stay at the Copper Horse Lodge (shared room)
Activities
- Two days skiing, for two, at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
- One day heli skiing for two, courtesy of CMH Purcell
Dining and Souvenirs

The draw will occur on or about December 2nd, and trip dates must booked by December 10, 2026. 19+ for entrant and companion. Eligible trip dates are in January 4-March 31, except Feb 12-21, 2027. A potential Canadian winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question..
Winner and companion must have strong intermediate-to-advanced skiing or snowboarding ability for CMH Purcell heli-skiing (full details here). Winner and companion are expected to participate in trip documentation, subject to applicable law.
Open to entrants from Canada (excluding Quebec), US (excluding New York, Washington State, Florida), and the UK.
