Great technical ability and value for money in a stylish package.
The slim-fit is restrictive with a hoody.

Protest have been producing bright, stylish, seasonaire-suitable snow clothing for several years and seem to be carving out a strong foothold in that market.

However, they've never really been a challenger in the technical department, but that might be changing!

The latest Geotech 20k technical PVRE series offers 20,000mm waterproofing, 20,000 grs breathability, insulated lining, quilted collars and pockets, elastane and Velcro cuffs and a stretch waist gaitor all within a cosy regular length slim fit jacket!

The sleeves are a good length allowing for free movement and the long chest pockets are easily accessed wearing gloves. The jacket also comes with a lift pass holder, goggle wipe and easy headphone access.

The slim fit is slightly restrictive if you want to zip up with a hoody underneath, but when skiing with a base layer and a good mid layer the jackets snug fit and insulation is enough to keep warm on a cold day on the slopes. The hood is also semi-insulated but is a tight fit to get over a helmet.

For value for money, this jacket is a steal! It's properly waterproof, properly breathable, properly warm (when layered correctly) and properly seasonaire-stylish! ...and less than £200! Bargain!
