Everyone knows how important layering is if you want to stay warm, dry and comfortable on the hill, and that’s exactly what the Marmot Thermo Hoody achieves.
Made from Polartec Power Dry grid fabric it offers a superior warmth to weight ratio, and it packs away easilyl should you want to take it along as an extra layer.
There’s heaps of stretch in the fabric too, making it good for high energy activities, whilst the flat lock seam construction adds to the comfort factor.
Having a hood also helps in keeping you warm although there is the potential of the fabric rucking up around your collar when the hood is not in use, but this is a minor concern really.
I liked the little extras such as the zipped chest pocket and elasticated cuffs with thumb loops, and the dual tone fabric and bright stitching also add to the good looks of the Thermo, which is essentially an effective layering piece that will have its uses throughout the year.
