The Blizzard Viva 600 FS IQ is a ski for opening up and letting rip on; our reviewer said she 'loved them when I cranked up the speed'.

Along with new graphics the Viva has a wood core, titanium top sheet, partial side wall and 'full suspension' through a piston system which dampens vibration by 15%.

This may be just as well as when you open them up they perform superbly and reveal themselves to be a solid, rapid ski - our tester Vicky said she felt as if she could have taken off on them.

They are, however, a bit of a fight in short turns, but if you like making long, fast, arcing turns on the piste they're well worth checking out.
