This Chamonix born ski has the technology to make a true allrounder. Dynastar's Powerdrive Free tech combines a traditional wood core with a composite sidewall making the ski more versatile. The composite is made up of a soft, a hard and a dynamic material to reap the benefits of all three. It promises superior precision, control and fluidity.

The rocker, camber, rocker profile makes the Legend a playful ski in soft snow, while maintaining the edge hold of a cambered ski in firmer conditions. Whilst the ski was very playful, at just 88mm we found it to be a little narrow underfoot for very deep or heavy snow. Hence it scored lower on flotation than in other areas. However, the shovel like tip and progressive rocker will help in anything from champagne powder to spring crud.

Dynastar promote the W88 as their flagship model, a true allrounder, for ladies that want a 50/50 one ski quiver. The Dynastar Legend range has something for everyone though, depending on your trail preference, from the small and sassy 84 to the meaty 106.

We agree that the Dynastar Legend W88 is a great all-round ski for any advanced female skier that likes to explore different terrain with confidence. It gives a fun and stable ride in a variety of conditions making it an all-round good egg!
