Fancy a quick snowboard this weekend?

Les 2 Alpes is opening from 26 October to 3rd November, before reopening for the winter season on 30 November.

Every year ‘Les 2 Alpes’ opens in late October for ten days, so winter sports addicts can ski and or snowboard on the resort’s glacier, between a chilling 3,600m and 3,200m. The glacier is in excellent condition this year and the lift company is preparing the slopes for the opening this weekend, Saturday 26 October.

This weekend Les 2 Alpes will host a snowboard event ‘Enjoy the Glacier’, with snowboarders hitting some specially designed features. There will be a BBQ alongside films, concerts, and a gear tests. The following brands are taking part in the test; Apo, Burton, Electric, Nitro, Quicksilver, Furlan, Dupraz, Dinosaurs Will Die, Flow, Santa Cruz, Oakley and Rome.

For skiers there is ‘Tests & Rock’n Roll’ where the resort’s ski shops offer free ski tests. Skiers can also enjoy a free BBQ at the snowpark and take part in a ski contest.

On 26 and 27 October, Les 2 Alpes offers a discounted lift-pass at €22 per day. From 28 October to 3 November, the day-pass costs €27.50 per day. So why wait for Christmas?
