Freeskier turned filmmaker ski ballets at the summit of Mont Blanc

Ski ballet is one of those bizarrely captivating 'sports', no longer a feature in the winter olympics, but still, it seems popular with mountaineer, ex pro freeskier and now filmmaker Fabien Maierhofer.

Watch as Fabien and his crew of friends ascend Mont Blanc over the course of two days with some daring scrambles wearing just ski boots, plenty of laughs and a tongue in cheek finish to the expedition. It's refreshing to see a warts and all, down to earth ski video and the ease with which these guys move in the mountains is impressive.
