After enjoying fantastic opening weekend skiing conditions in Val Thorens whilst renting three of this season’s best skis (Rossignol Soul, Dynastar Cham 87 and Dynastar cr72) from Intersport (www.intersport.com) we’re not sure.
Think about it – if you rent you avoid the hassle and charges of taking your skis on the plane, you can ski on the latest models every winter, if you don’t like what you’re riding you can take it back and change it and your skis will be professionally maintained by qualified ski technicians.
Intersport even has a useful calculator which will show you how much renting can save you (http://www.intersportblog.com/the-ski-snowboard-hire-calculator/) which can be as much as the cost of a one-week lift pass for a family of four.
So, maybe it’s time to rent rather than buy…?
