Soul searching from one of the world’s best freeride snowboarders, Xavier de le Rue.

Big lines on some serious big mountains: ‘A constant battle between the good and bad voices in my head. One that reminds me of all these incredible sessions, and the one that reminds me this could be my last.’

Xavier de le Rue and his close friends ride some beautiful and creative lines, which are captured with an artistry that turns this short film from ski porn to arthouse cult.

We love Xavier’s outlook as he searches for his own take on each mountain; there’s a creativity to his riding that will leave you breathless.

After a huge avalanche in March 2008, which was 2 kilometres long and took Xavier on a ride he was lucky to survive, he is now famed for riding steep ice. In White Noise you can see his first footsteps onto the large ice sheets that have come to define his latest challenges.
