Brit snowboarder Sascha Hamm takes third place in Freeride World Tour
sascha in action

In his first year on the tour London-based snowboarder Sascha Hamm has taken a stunning third place overall in the event.

Sascha got off to a fantastic start with second place at the first event in Courmayeur in January and has consolidated his standings throughout the tour, which took in Italy, France, Austria, the USA and Canada before culminating last weekend in Verbier, Switzerland.

Here the 37-year-old, who 'commutes' every weekend to Chamonix from his home in London, took third boarding down the challenging Bec des Rosses face to finish with the best ever freeride result by a British athlete.

You can see his Verbier ride here and see our recent interview with Sascha here
