New Gondola for Graubunden Toboggan

A new gondola lift has opened at Lenzerheide, in Switzerland's Graubunden region, allowing much easier access to the slopes and the hair-raising 'Rabbit Run' toboggan run.

The 3.8 km (2.4 mile) Rabbit Run is not for the faint-hearted however. Those brave enough to try it quickly gain speed as they hurtle towards the valley floor. The run is one of 59 in the Graubunden region.

The £16 million gondola links Canols to Scharmoin and also includes a new sports shop.
