18 year old Katie Ormerod, who was the first female to land a backside double-cork 1080 will be riding in the Snowboard Slopestyle finals today at 17.00 GMT. In 2012 she won both slopestyle and big air at the Brits, following it up with victory in the halfpipe the following year.

Katie Summerhayes, who won silver at the freeski world championships in 2015 was lucky enough to be awarded a second alternate place just a day before the event was due to start. She will compete in the Ski Slopestyle finals at 19.30 GMT.

On Sunday, James 'Woodsy' Woods will ride in the Men’s Ski Slopestyle finals at 17.00 GMT. In a heroic effort Woods dislocated his jaw in Mammoth last weekend, but continued to compete. He hopes to better his bronze medal from the X Games in 2013.
