Salomon's X Pro range of boots are designed for the intermediate skier who sticks mainly on-piste and wants a reliable, comfortable and good value alternative to rental ski boots.
Price
£230
Flex rating
80

If you're thinking about purchasing your first pair of ski boots - either as a beginner or intermediate skier, then the X Pro 80 from Salomon is a good choice for women with a higher volume foot or if you're just looking for a more relaxed fit.

There's plenty of control though, with Salomon's twin frame technology and oversized pivot, which provides more transition directly to the skis, helping anyone learning to improve their technique gain the confidence that their boots are helping, rather than hindering.

There's a flex adjuster that allows for 10% movement either way, meaning that you can increase the flex as you feel fit or when a more aggressive style of skiing is required.

At £230 recommended retail price they are a great entry level, first time ski boot for beginners and intermediate skiers who don't want to hire in resort and demand a higher level of performance than most rental boots could offer.
