The Bataleon Omni is a power house of a snowboard. This dynamic traditional camber all mountain/freeride board is one that you have to work hard, or it will work you. If you love to charge around the mountain at speed then you'll get on just fine with it.

The board is directional and slightly set back which carries speed well over the flats and because of the large nose, powers through uneven terrain such as crud with ease.

We did need to work hard and commit to our turns otherwise it will throw you like a rodeo horse. However, if you do, it has the power of a mustang.

The Omni is also as strong as a Mustang with reinforced core along the edges and Basalt stringers on top to handle technical and steep terrain.

The board is still reasonably responsive and will allow initiation of smaller turns, but requires a bit more effort than usual. Where it excels is during those fast long carves that feel so good when you get them right.

This is a fun board to ride. Not in the sense that you can jib around the mountain with butters and presses, but in the sense that you can charge around the mountain and will probably get shouted at to slow down by your fellow riders, as you simply can't help yourself.
