The first thing about the 2015-16 version of K2's Shreditor is the graphics - retro 1970's K2 classic stripes that scream 'Hot Dogging' is back.

They certainly look retro but that's where any reference to old fashioned ends, because this is a very modern ski for a modern skier.

They are a fun and lively ski, highly responsive and agile in all conditions, even on groomed slopes they perform well, with a solid edge hold and smooth transition from one turn to the next.

The front tip rocker adds loads of floatation in deeper snow whilst the raised tail helps if you end up landing backwards - but the flat end means attaching skins is still very easy.

They would certainly suit a jibber who likes to ply his trade in off-piste terrain and also enjoys hitting the park once in a while. But a basic park ski they are not, these are bog boys toys in disguise, hungry for aggressive powder turns and aggressive rippers who aren't afraid to take on the entire mountain, at speed.

The Aspen and Paulownia wood core makes the ski strong yet light with the added addition of K2's Triaxial Braid that adds torsional rigidity throughout the length of the ski.

We really enjoyed this ski and although it's designed for a true backcountry freestyle skier, anyone who loves to turn in all conditions would enjoy the ride it has to offer.
