Lots of features in a small package
Not backcountry specific

• BioSync Suspension technology to keep the pack moving with you for unrestricted motion • Zippered main compartment with two internal mesh organizer pockets • Expandable stretch front pocket with tuck-away bungee closure fits helmets • Dual external side pockets • Dual quick-access hipbelt pockets • Hydration sleeve with external access • Side compression straps • Shoulder strap hydration tube clip • Shoulder strap sunglass loop • Low-profile safety light lash pointThe Gregory Miwok 18 crams a lot of features into what is a relatively small package, and for piste skiers or those not venturing too far off piste it's a good option for carrying all the basics you'll need for a day on the slopes. Note, however that it doesn't have avalanche safety gear specific pockets or a ski/board carry facility.

The main compartment has zipper access and doesn't seem that big at first, but this is offset by the fact that you get a large expandable outer pocket that will hold a helmet, and a separate compartment for a hydration system.

There's also a large zippered top pocket (with internal mesh pocket for valuables) which will easily hold goggles, as well as dual side pockets on the hip belt.

Yet more storage space comes in the form of expandable mesh pockets for water bottles etc. on each side of the Miwok, so you'll have no problem carrying everything you need for a day on the piste.

This can all be transported in stable fashion thanks to Gregory's 'Biosync' suspension system, which allows the pack to move with you, as well as compression straps either side of the pack to hold everything in place.

Little touches such as a sunglasses loop on one shoulder strap and a hydration tube clip on the other finish off what is a well-designed pack that will also work well for summer hikes and bikes.
