On test we found that the Atomic Nomad Radon did most things adequately, but nothing spectacularly, which may well appeal to less demanding skiers looking to cruise the pistes in relaxed fashion

The Nomad S Radon is a slightly mixed bag of tricks - it performs well up to a point in terms of both edge hold and long and short radius turns, and is pretty good at both high and low speeds, but if you push it too hard it starts to slide out of the turns rather than carve.

So you get a smooth ride as long as you don't hammer it; which is a little frustrating as it's quite a responsive ski and thus encourages you to work it.

However, plenty of skiers are happy to just cruise around the pistes all day without busting a gut, and this may well be a ski they should check out - especially as it's also pretty good value.
