The Blizzard Freeride collection is simply put - an awesome looking range of skis, well made, sleek and stylish. There's no surprises there, as Blizzard have been producing quality skis since 1945.
The Cochise are pure freeride skis that can mix it up with the very best. What got us off the bat was how easy they are to ride - but don't be fooled, they are packed with power and pop and when handled correctly they will give you more fun than you can wish for if you're not careful.
Considering the 108mm width and their superb flex pattern with just the right amount of rocker tip and tail, they turn easily in tight spots and have no problems at all dealing with difficult terrain, never once punishing you for getting a bit out of synch.
The newer model has a slightly different shape than the last incarnation, with a slightly tapered tip and tail giving them a very sleek look and an improved initiation into the turn - even more so than the 2017 model that we liked so much.
Wheeling them out on to the harder snow was then the power and pop really came into play. The Blizzard Race Factory have been hard at work designing the new Cochise and the results means they're as good on-piste as they could possibly make them - and they really are, showing high performance and stability throughout the turn, not at all feeling like they're 108mm wide underfoot.
