So much fun on-piste you forget to explore the rest of the mountain

The Adventure GT is the beefier model in the new Adventure range from Polish ski company, Majesty. It's a little wider than its smaller brother and at 91mm under foot, pushes nicely into the freeski category, but is still versatile enough to be considered an all mountain ski.

Apart from the extra width, there's also a Titanal 'core socket' built into the ski and this stiffens things up, providing boosted edge hold - and we can really feel that in the turn. They grip well on hardpack terrain, whilst still having a relaxed feel through each turn.

In fact, they feel so good on-piste we were reluctant to drag them away. Slicing through even the hardest of snow, like a ski more in-tune with the soul of a GS ski - just so much easier to turn.

Whilst they aren't as playful as their narrower counterparts, the solid feel, the serious grip and the powerful turning ability, add up to what is a more 'sophisticated' ski. In variable, chopped up terrain, they eat up everything in their way - in powder they perform as expected; not designed for big mountain Alaskan lines but more than adequate for forages in Alpine glades and thigh deep powder bowls.

Overall, the Adventure GT is a competent all-round performer for an adventurous intermediate skier looking to get into freeride skiing, the performance punch also makes them suitable for an expert looking for a versatile tool with which to ply their trade.
