A genuinely brilliant ski with genuine freeski heritage
Nothing. We want these skis!

Try as you might, it's nigh on impossible to find anything to dislike about Black Crows. Born and bred in Chamonix, the freeski brand takes everything that's cool about the epic French mountain town and ploughs it straight into their skis.

The Atris Birdie is a cracking example of a massive Black Crows win. A genuinely beautiful ski that feels perfectly weighted throughout, we defy anyone to not enjoy a ride on this ski!

At 108mm underfoot with a 20m turning radius, we expected the Atris Birdie to demand big things from its pilot but it's just incredibly easy to ski. Lighter at the tip and tail, the Atris Birdie floats like a dream in the powder but is still capable of big things in hard snow and on the piste thanks to the priority given to stability and edge control.

It all adds up to a ski that wants to travel hard and fast and makes it easy to let it do its thing. We were amazed by how natural it felt to make the transition between fast, long GS style turns into rapid fire short swings with zero need to adjust our speed.

At £590 without bindings the Atris Birdie is definitely an investment but one that will pay out over and over again. Get these on your Christmas list asap!
