We decided to test the Line Sickday 110 because the graphics look cool, but unfortunately it didn't quite come up to scratch once out on the hill - although that may partly be due to our tester being a slightly lazy skier.

You have to really work the Sickday to get the most out of it, as it feels heavy and not that responsive if you just faff around expecting it to do all the work for you.

We found the overall performance - edge hold, long and short radius turns, comfort at different speeds and responsiveness - to be, well, adequate, although as you might expect from a big-mountain ski the Sickday did up its game once off piste and in the cruddy snow at the side of the piste.

So, if you like to push your skis and work them hard this may be the ski for you; if not you'll probably find it hard going.
