After last season’s skiing was cut short in March as ski resorts went into lockdown, it’s fair to say there’s a lot of scepticism that things will be any different this winter.
But with resorts across Europe doing their bit to make hitting the slopes as safe as it can be, all that remains is getting there.
Step up Crystal Ski Holidays, a tour operator with 35 years’ experience of taking people to the mountains. All their packages include flights, transfers and accommodation, and you can book with confidence knowing your trip is covered by ABA and ATOL protection.

Crystal’s COVID-19 peace of mind policy really hits the spot in these strange times. Here’s what to expect:
Quarantine-free
Crystal won't take you to resorts where it knows you'll need to self-isolate or quarantine when you get there or when you get back home. If the country is on the quarantine list at the time of travel, you can change to a different destination or cancel free of charge if that’s what you’d prefer to do. Plus, don’t worry about constantly monitoring the status of your destination country, Crystal will be proactively contacting customers before their holiday to discuss their options in cases like this.
Free amends
You can amend your holiday for free up to 28 days before your departure date, no matter which destination you’ve booked.
If you're due to go on holiday but have been diagnosed with COVID-19, have symptoms or have been asked to self-isolate, you can submit a medical certificate and amend your booking for free. You can also amend for free if your local UK area goes into lockdown.
No skiing, no worries
If there are overseas local restrictions that impact your ability to get on the mountain – like the ski area is closed due to COVID-19 – then Crystal will contact you to change your booking or cancel and refund your holiday for free.
Following FCDO advice
If the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advice changes before you go or while you’re on holiday, again Crystal will contact you to discuss the next steps. If it changes to 'all but essential travel', you can amend or cancel your holiday for free.
Keeping you informed
Crystal will contact you before you go about the current safety regulations in your resort. They're working closely with accommodation providers and ski suppliers to implement local rules and keep you safe. However, as most ski resorts operate in winter only, those details are still to be confirmed.
24/7 support
The Crystal team are always on hand to support you while you're away – you can get in touch 24/7 by phone.
Plus, Crystal has put together a set of FAQs available here: crystalski.co.uk/covid-19-faqs/
So whether you’re a skier, snowboarder or skit-back-and-socialiser, you can book and travel with confidence this winter with Crystal Ski Holidays.
